“As a Nigerian immigrant pursuing my studies in the UK, I struggled with the emotional and psychological hurdles of adapting to a new country. Meeting The Abundant Woman CIC in 2023 completely changed my experience. This organisation, founded by a fellow immigrant, provided me with a safe space to grow, connect, and thrive despite the challenges of migration. Over 16 months as a volunteer, I witnessed their empowering work firsthand, helping women find confidence, community, and the resources needed to embrace change. Being part of this mission has not only helped me feel less alone but also allowed me to contribute to creating a brighter future for other women navigating similar journeys.”
